This faux finishing project was commissioned by the owner of Zia's Italian Restaurant in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
A false second story had been added to the building to increase its' visibility from the highway.
I matched the existing first floor colors, creating a faux plaster, brick and stone surface.
Also, the solid plastic cornice was partitioned with faux joints to make it appear to be made of stone sections.

At my suggestion, the owner also had false windows installed on the second story which mimic the first story windows.
Eventually, window boxes with flowers will be added to the windows, completing the illusion of a two-story building.
