This mural was commissioned for a small windowless bathroom. To give the illusion of greater space I created an arched opening in the wall with a sunset view over tuscan hills and the Arno river. I painted faux marble wainscoating around the entire room then added a trompe l'oeil towel hanging over the windowsill to increase the illusion of depth. The mural is approximately 8 feet high by 3 feet wide.
